Vintage Wicker Woven Fishing Creel Lidded Basket with Buckle Closure Harness Strap

Description: This Wicker Woven Fishing Creel with medium to dark brown tones is still functional and provides that wonderful rustic charm. For ease of carrying, attached through the back of the basket is the original leather harness/strap along with a single woven handle on the back-top and buckle closure on the front. Creels can have many creative uses today as they have become a collectible by many fishing enthusiasts and this one displays very nicely.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Good condition and still strong. Buckle, straps and lid are functional condition. One strand on inner lid working as a hinge for lid is separated although no movement in lid, still strong. Handles act as an additional support to lid. An additional small section of a strand on the bottom of basket which goes horizontally is broken (as shown). Does not effect the appearance or functionality of creel. Some patina, wear on metal buckle and clasp.
