Product Description:  A lovely velvet photo album from the end of the Victorian era.  Marked with two patents; November 26, 1895 and November 10, 1896, it is covered with a green, salmon and orange paisley motif, brass tone appliques and a moon shape mirror in the bottom right corner.  The ornate brass clasp works like a charm.  Inside you will find thirty six pages with 16 larger black and white photos and 3 smaller size within the windows.  There are 7 additional smaller black and white photographs loose in the back. Although a portion of the applique has detached and needs repair, the album still holds most of it's beauty.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age.  Moderate surface wear and discoloration on exterior and interior.  Binding is still intact.  Clasp works well.  Once brass applique has "detached" and another is loose and may detach at any time (as shown).  Needs repair.  Many of the interior paper cut-out windows inside are torn and/or missing its paper insert.   Photographs have not been tested for the originality.
