Description:    This charming, glazed, white ironstone tea pot from the 19th century by T& R Boote of Staffordshire, England stands about 9” tall and can hold up to 5 cups.  It features and octagonal shape with a fluted body which elegantly swoops outward towards the bottom with a slightly skirted raised base. The “O” ring shape handle is exceptional and definitely an eye-catcher! A simple leaf motif is displayed on the top of the handle and on the inner and outer part of the spout.  Although the pour spout is a bit chippy, this classy, highly collectible, 19th century timeless treasure is both functional and decorative.
