Vintage Decorated Chinese Wooden Wash Board, Scrub Board with Peonies
Product Description: Small wooden washboards similar to this one were once used over washtubs or sinks to clean delicate clothing such as undergarments. This Chinese wash board crafted from wood with hand-carved ridges on two sides was hand-painted in a light, goldish-yellow surface with a peony motif at the top. Still a functional piece and a colorful accent to display in your laundry room.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Paint is still in good condition with exception of bottom and top edge which has very little to no paint and wear to wood which indicates some age. Ridges in center of washboard are worn down and smooth from use. Two 2 inch vertical cracks at base going upward. No sign of weakness. Hanger is not included.
