Vintage Folk Art Papier-Mache Horse Sculpture
Product Description: This early papier mache horse crafted of a paper pulp construction or other composite material still retains much of its original paint. It stands 11 inches tall with a shabby appearance. It may have once been mounted on wheels or part of a pull toy mounted on a cart. The ears are made of paper material and the tail of horsehair. Having scattered wear and damage, this piece may be desirable as an early toy display with its primitive appearance.

Condition: Previously owned – used. Fair condition. Still retains much of its original paint with loss on mane area and additional scattered areas. Scratches and some pulp loss, open areas with patina. The bottom of four feet do exhibit wear and/or damage. With the front left foot being shorter than other, it struggles to stand on 3 feet, therefore recommended to be propped-up for display purposes. One original, small hole on each side of his face where a string or cord once was.
