Product Description:  Display up to thirty of your favorite spoons in this large, wooden spoon rack.  Weighing over 9 pounds, this unique piece features a scalloped top crest with two pierced, carved hearts.  The top level offers nine, hand-carved, rectangular spoon slots on each side.  The second level offers an additional twelve open slots.  Not only is this a spoon rack, attached there is an nicely-designed open compartment, which can display your favorite mortar and pestle.  Below this area sits the original pull-out drawer with a ring handle. The sides are nicely-carved, as well as the scalloped trim below the drawer.  If you're searching for a wooden spoon rack, it will be a challenge to locate one as unique and well done as this one.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Surface scratches, patina.  Most nails appear to be original with mixed newer screws and wire.  There is a hole in the top crest, which was originally designed for hanging, although, there was a newer wire support added in the center, back of the rack. A removed label, glue, splat of paint or other foreign material on back of rack.
