Vintage Copper Plated Cow Bells - Initialed

Product Description:  This pair of cow bells were artistically crafted from copper plated metal with an iron ball clapper, attached by a thin strap.  They feature a copper U shape applied handle with a faint picture of a hand painted heart and initials on one side of each bell; N.C. and D.C. Are these initials of two cows or people?  When rattled, they make a beautiful pitched sound.  A wonderful collectible with an untold story to be told.

Dimensions:  3 1/4" Height x 2" Width (at widest area)

Color:  dark copper, natural age darkening

Condition:  Previously used.  Appropriate condition for age.  Noticeable green oxidation forming on one bell.  Moderate natural surface patina and areas of oxidation with verdigris color.  The plastic strap is in beginning stages of breaking in one area.
