Product Description: Imagine this colorful sponge bowl displayed in your bathroom. Using sponge bowls were common during the Victorian period. Many kept their bathroom supplies such as sponge bowls, towel horses, washstands and chamber pots nearby in their bedroom. This 3 piece sponge bowl set in the Ascot transfer pattern by Crown Ducal – England boasts a colorful transfer pattern in pink, blue and yellow with green foliage, brown and a creamy white interior. Special Crown Ducal pieces such as this lovely one from the 1920s era are not easily found, especially still retaining all three pieces.
