Product Description:  Framed under glass is this fine group of early ephemera from 1899-1901, collected from James Boyd Esquire, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  It has been left untouched and showcases on the top, his membership Certificate for the American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial Association.  The organization was incorporated in 1898 and certificates were sold to raise money to assist with preserving the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  This certificate is an early one issued in 1899.

  • Typed Regiment Reunion Invite from E. (Edward) Burd Grubb along with its postmarked envelope dated April 1901
  • “One Check” paper ticket collectible from “The Perfect Tea and Coffee Co.” in Trenton, New Jersey early 1900’s

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Good condition with minimal tears.  Certificate has two small tears.  One on edge of top left side and towards edge of right side.  Some yellowing and paper aging on invite and envelope.  Certificate has minimal yellowing and aging around edges.  Wood and plastic frame has normal wear for age with light damage and some missing nails holding cardboard backing.
