Old Antique Wooden Violin Fiddle Case Coffin Case with Old Green Paint
Description: For primitive decorating, this early fiddle or violin case in old green paint is a gem. A coffin style case, measuring 27 inches long with tapered, straight sides appears to be handmade using wood and nail construction. If you admire the old, worn look, this case has many repurposing possibilities, even if you don’t own a fiddle or violin!

Condition: Used. Condition is commensurate with age. Original interior lining is worn and is missing along front interior. Most of lining can be removed and no longer permanently attached to sides or bottom. The long backside is still adhered to wood. Original hardware shows wear and patina. Missing latch/hardware on front. Missing a few original nails on top. One 5 1/2 inch thin crack on lid although does not appear to effect functionality. Please refer to photographs.
