Mid Century 7" Lady Head Vase Planter by Shafford Japan c. 1940-1970's
Product Description: Once popular for floral designers to arrange flowers in, this ceramic figural vase features a Japanese lady with pale skin dressed in pastel colors styled by Shafford in Japan. She has painted black eyes and red lips. Her pretty, pastel, ruffled turquoise top and a pink and yellow flower head-band is displayed on top of her reddish-brown hair. Although she seems to have lost her earrings, she displays her beauty very well.

Condition: Previously owned - used. No chips, cracks or noticeable crazing. Original foil label is still intact on bottom. Areas of light spots and staining on the exterior and on the inside bottom from normal use. Missing her earrings although the holes are still intact.
