Incolay Stone Jewelry Trinket Box "La Vie Village" No. 1-5017

Description:  This hand-crafted Incolay stone jewelry box with a brass, hinged lid was hand-crafted by artisans at Incolay Studios Incorporated in San Fernando, California.   Incolay stone is made of a combination of crushed minerals such as Onyx, Malachite, Carnelian, Jade, and others to create this exquisite, piece of artwork. Each scene surrounding the jewelry box is crafted with intricate detail, in  relief and captures the remembrance of village life.  The inside base is lined with a black velvet material and three applied felt pads on the exterior base to prevent scratching of surfaces. Since the original company was later purchased, this is a wonderful collectible to own.  It will arrive with the small, original paper insert discussing the La Vie Village and Incolay stone.

Note:  Original box is not included. 

Care:  Only hand spot cleaning is recommended.

Condition:   Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and normal.  Good condition.  Light wear to bottom base.  A residue is underneath the lid, most likely left from original sticker which is no longer present.  This residue may not be easily removed and if attempted may damage the stone.
