Product Description: Victorian 12-piece set- service for 6, fruit knives and forks by Allen & Darwin (A & D), England from the late 1800s. Silver-plate with white mother-of-pearl handles. It will arrive complete with the original Walnut wood case, blue velvet inserts and locking key. Simple yet decorative with a simple incised decoration on the knife blades and fork heads. The knife blades bears the makers brand, trademark and Registration number of 221148.

Condition:  Previously owned - Used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Original locking key functions. Scratches and tarnish on knives and forks. Lightly cleaned. Tarnish on knives and forks have been left untouched as many collectors prefer originality. Most of Mother-of-Pearl handles are in good condition with a few having small scrapes on corners with light discoloration and normal use. One blue velvet end which holds the forks in place is detached although still is functional. Case has some scrathces and nicks. Mostly on bottom corners.
