Antique English White Ironstone Oval Vegetable Tureen with Lid by T & R BOOTE
Description: This charming, white ironstone vegetable tureen by T & R Boote is simple yet beautiful. The body is just slightly bulbous with applied handles which slightly curve upward on a footed oval base. The T & R Boote is one of the well-known, highly collectible British makers of ironstone china. This is a simple, plain tureen without decoration and could be combined with many other white ironstone patterns for your next table setting.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Over 130 years old. Condition is consistent with age and normal use. Good condition. No cracks or repairs. Glaze is smooth and clean. Minimal crazing if any. Some small scratches and nicks from normal use. Under lid has a new small nicks (as shown). Lip of tureen has an 1/8" small scrape. Bottom base shows some wear on ring with rubbing and discoloration. Top of final has a rub or small nick. Inside base does have some discoloration spots in the glaze (as shown).
