19th Century White Ironstone Gravy Sauce Tureen Ladle & Lid Henry Alcock Repair
Product Description: A 19th century white ironstone gravy or sauce boat with lid and ladle by Henry Alcock & Co., Cobridge, Staffordshire, England. Crafted with simple embossed lines on the lid finial and tip of handle on ladle with elegant double handles which curve upward. Even though the lid handle has been previously repaired at the neck area, it is still a functional piece of ironstone to add to your tableware collection.
Care: Hand wash soap and water, not oven or microwave safe.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Over 115 years old. Fine crazing is present. Handle – finial on lid has been previously “repaired” at neck area (as shown). Still decorative and appears to be functional. Although cleaned, discoloration/staining around lip of underside lid and a 1” area on lip of body where lid rests. Ladle has a few discolored glaze pops and wear on outside dipper. Small chip on handle, nick on opening on lid. Please refer to photographs as they are part of description.
