Product Description: During the Victorian era, ironstone water pitchers and basins were essential fixtures in many homes, serving as part of the traditional washstand set. This ironstone pitcher features a glazed body accented by an unglazed light blue band and gold-tone trim, providing a country cottage appeal. Standing 12 ½ inches tall, this substantial piece bears the Royal Arms mark with the J.W. Pankhurst & Co. stamp on the base. Over 140 years old, it remains in good antique condition and displays beautifully.

Condition: Previously owned – used. No cracks or chips. Glaze is in very good condition. An area of two small bumps - wear on side of lower belly (as shown). A 1"section of light color wear on blue band and 1/4" light scrape on rim. A few small areas of rubbing and discoloration on interior from normal use (as shown). Wear on base ring from use (as shown). Note: Body is glazed, blue band is unglazed.
