Cobalt Blue Glass Mustard Cup w/ Attached Saucer Metal Lid - Petalware by Macbeth-Evans c. 1930's

Description:  Mac-Beth Evans Glass Company, an American based company established in 1899, introduced Pedalware in 1930.  In limited production, cobalt blue glass was used.  This nice 3-piece covered mustard jar (cup) with attached underplate is made of a cobalt blue glass, a metal lid and red plastic finial.  Even though it is not known if the 3 inch white ceramic spoon is original to the set, it for sure is a fine example of one of Macbeth-Evans depression glassware.

Condition:   Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age and normal use. No cracks or chips.  Metal lid exhibits areas of patina, rust on top and underneath.  White spoon shows wear with a crack in seat of spoon (as shown).  It is not known if spoon is original to set.
