Description: Elevate your dining collection with this set of five Franciscan Dinner Plates in the Desert Rose pattern. Crafted in the United States, it showcases well-defined, embossed pink roses, inspired by the beautiful Rose Rugosa, wild rose with goldish-yellow centers, green leaves and brown, thorny vines on a cream background. Each plate bears the brown mark known as the “TV or TV Screen” backstamp from the early 1970s. Not only is the Franciscan Desert Rose pattern colorful and stylish, it carries historical significance, once chosen by Lady Jacqueline Kennedy for use in the White House.

Condition: Used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Considered very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Bright and colorful. Since each plate is hand-decorated, shading of colors may vary slightly. Light 2 inch rubbing in glaze on face of one plate. Not easily seen until the plate is turned slightly. Three stilt marks on the back of each plate from the supports when drying the pottery. Please refer to photographs.
