Description:  Elevate your dining collection with this Franciscan Dinner Plate in the Desert Rose pattern. Crafted in the United States, it showcases well-defined, embossed pink roses, inspired by the beautiful Rose Rugosa, wild rose with Goldish-yellow centers, green leaves and brown, thorny vines on a cream background. Being that this dinner plate is one from the earlier years of production of the Desert Rose, it bears an earlier mark dating this piece from the 1940s. Not only is the Franciscan Desert Rose pattern colorful and stylish, it carries historical significance, once chosen by Lady Jacqueline Kennedy for use in the White House.

Condition: Used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Considered very good to excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or utensil marks. Minor imperfections from the making of the plate; ½”missed green edge and a few lines on back of plate. Both glazed over. Three stilt marks on back from supports when drying the pottery.
