Vintage Glass Ribbed Bottles with Red Aluminum Screw Lid ca. 1930s-1950s

Product Description:  A great pair of glass, ribbed bottles with red, aluminum screw-on lids. The larger water bottle has a nice form with ribs surrounding the bottle. The smaller bottle, we will call it a packer bottle with two ribbed sides, made by Owen-Illinois, believed to be circa 1934 from the Clarksburg, West Virginia plant. Although both bottles do exhibit some wear, they are unique in their own way and displays so well together. 

Additional Uses: Display as is or add a few single stem flowers for that instant vintage bottle accent.

Condition:  Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Rubbing and some red color wear on both lids. The lid on the larger bottle has a puncture, hole in the top. It will leak if contacts liquid and turned upside down. No noticeable cracks in either bottle. Top rim has light roughness in areas from metal lid.
