Vintage PYREX Primary Yellow 4 Quart Mixing Bowl #404 c. 1945-1950
Description: Pyrex nesting bowls are a popular collectible. Other than for nostalgic reasons, they are easy to store and of course we love displaying them. In very nice condition, this large 4 quart, #404 glass mixing bowl in the primary yellow is the largest 10 1/4 inches diameter from the nesting set of four. Based on the backstamp, it is believed this bowl is from an earlier production run pre-1950 (1945-1950 possibly). It bears the 404, PYREX A-17 Made in U.S.A. with T's and I's encircling the embossed stamp. Registered mark and capacity is not noted.
