Vintage Mechanical Wind-up Crawling Baby Toy Collectible c. 1930-1950's
Product Description: This adorable, crawling baby doll wearing a red polka-dot romper, winds up and crawls like a real baby. The center portion of the body is made of a tin material with a metal, wind-up key located on the underside of the body. The arms, legs and head are made of early, plastic with painted facial features and molded hair. The back of the head is marked “Japan". A great addition to a mechanical toy collection. Fun to watch!

Condition: Previously owned – used. Still functions properly. Romper is in vintage condition with some discoloration (as shown). Minor wear on the plastic areas which the baby uses to crawl. Paint on one eye brow is worn off and the other is partially worn. Red marks on face is believed to be his rosy cheeks. Possibly missing socks, although not confirmed.
