Product Description: Before the invent of indoor plumbing, wash basin sets similar to this one were commonly seen in the bedrooms during the Victorian era for evening washing. This lovely matching set of Crown Ducal Ware Chintz Pitcher & Wash Basin Set in the Ascot transfer pattern by Crown Ducal England evokes the charm of an English Country Cottage. On the exterior, the pair showcases a colorful Chintz floral transfer pattern with a creamy white interior. The pitcher stands 11 1/2 inches tall paired with a generous size diameter basin measuring 16 1/2 inches. Despite this set does show some signs of use, they surprisingly are still together and are worthy of a place in your home.

Condition: Previously owned - used. No cracks or repairs. Pitcher: Good condition with no chips or cracks. Bottom interior has spotted discoloration which appears to be in the glaze (as shown). Bowl: Crazing is present on interior. Stain ring around interior (as shown). One ¼” x 1/8” chip on rim along with three other small areas of nicks. Gold-tone rim wear on bowl moreso on one area (as shown). Common stilt marks in triangular form on the underneath base from the making of the piece.
