Product Description: A fantastic antique Columbia Family Scale - patented 1906. This terrific collectible can weigh up to 24 pounds. It features a black metal body and base, a round white face with black numeric and alpha print. It is highlighted with a bronze/gold color rim around the face. What makes this scale unique is the double sided advertising print - Talbot, Brooks & Ayer, Portland, ME. Harry D. Brooks founded the firm in 1904-1906. The perfect amount of natural surface patina makes this an eye-catching collectible that displays very well. (books in photo not included).
