Antique Pierced Square British Silver Salt Cellars with Cobalt Blue Inserts, Set of 2 c. Early 1900's

Product Description:  Add elegance to your kitchen table with this beautiful set of open salt cellars, believed to originate from London, England.  This impressive pair in square form are pierced in an ornamental art work surrounding all four sides sitting on a ball shape footed base.  Each offer the original square cobalt blue glass inserts.  They will arrive with two salt spoons.   The bottom of the base of each cellar are incised with 930, FP&S and its hallmarks. Excellent addition to your table setting this holiday season.

Circa:  Believed to be early 1900’s (1901-1904)

Material:  Silver, Glass, Other.  It is unknown the material of spoons.

Hallmarks:  On the bottom of casings: 930, Importer marks along with hallmarks, lion passant, leopard’s head and other (refer to photographs).  No visible markings on spoons.  It is not known if spoons are original to salts.  Patina and/or oxidation has been left untouched.

Condition: Previously owned - used.  Patina and/or oxidation on exterior and interior of casings and spoons.  Nicks on bottom of glass inserts.  One insert has a few small nicks on the corner.  No cracks.
