Early Handmade American Folk Art Bird Quilt Stencil Template Cutout
Description: An excellent example of an early stencil depicting an American Folk Art Bird. Most likely from the late 19th century this hand-cut from sheet metal, this indigenous, long beak bird with once was possibly used for quilt making or other crafting. It measures 10 ¼ inches long x 4 inches tall with a natural, naïve, and primitive appearance. If quilting or crafting is not your thing, this early cut-out comes with a punched, tin hole and can be hung and used as an accent.
