Pair of Clark's Spool Cotton Victorian Trade Cards ~ Antique Advertising

Product Description:  One of the popular forms of advertising in the later 1800s were on trade cards. Printed on thin cardboard, this outstanding pair of Clark’s Spool Cotton advertising showcases chromolithograph graphics on the front with additional advertising on the back. Both cards will arrive in clear sleeves.

• Clark’s O.N.T. Spool Cotton “A-Head of all of Them” 3” x 4 ½”. Shows a crowd of young children around a spool of Clark’s thread.
• Clark’s Mile-End Spool 30 Cotton. 4” x 3 ½”. Shows a youngster tripping a gentleman.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age. Good condition. Light foxing on edges, Graphics are still clear and strong. On the back of Clark’s Mile-End card is a ½” piece of paper stuck over one word in second line which may not be removable (as shown). Please refer to photographs as they are part of the description.
