Antique 19th Century Tin Drinking Vessel Soldered Seams Original Name Tag H.C. GIBSON
Description: More than a simple drinking vessel, this 19th century tin container offers a tangible connection to its original owner. An early soldered identification tag incised "HC Gibson", remains attached to the handle, suggesting it was a value personal possession used regularly.
Measuring 7 3/4" tall, it retains its original lid and exhibits crude hand-soldered seams characteristic of period craftsmanship. Whether carried to work, the farm, or on daily travels, this vessel likely served to hold water, coffee, or another beverage. The aged surface and honest wear reflect years of practical use. A wonderful example of early American tinware and primitive Americana.
