Hayden in 1851, an American inventory and industrialist from Waterbury, Connecticut. This kettle features a spun brass body surface with copper rivets which hold the ears for the brass bail handle. Additional Notation: Hiram W. Hayden's design of the handle was a wrought iron handle. This handle is brass. Normally that would raise a red flag as a reproduction although the original stamp is clear.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age and use. Interior: Patina with staining. Exterior – patina, a few indentations and scratches (as shown). Does not sit flush on surface which is common from this spun brass process. Slightly out-of-round.
