This collection of two in two different sizes features a fluted body and impressed fruit motifs, hand-soldered at the seams and early worn surface patina, highlighting its age. 19th and early 20th-century molds with fruit motifs like these were often seen in mail-order catalogs/advertisements targeting homemakers who created decorative jellied fruit dishes. Early tin ware once used for utilitarian purposes are today collectible, decorative pieces that are displayed on kitchen walls for a vintage touch.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Medium to dark patinated surface. Small scrape on pear. Note: No hanging ring tabs. During 18th and 19th centuries, gelatin molds were not typically designed for hanging, therefore are not present. No longer for food use.
