Description: This beautifully decorated wooden foot stool offers a charming example of Folk Art Agriculture. It features a hand-painted scene depicting two cows facing each other, bordered by Folk Art Tulips or Trinity Tulips painted in a natural color palette. Signed by the artist which appears to read Currier Sinclair, this piece represents an interpretation of the agriculture heritage and traditional motifs typical of the Pennsylvania region. It is not known if the first name of the signature is a pseudonym or if there is a personal story behind this unique figurative art though, it is clear it emphasizes the folk art heritage possibly reflecting their daily life.
