Product Description: Desert Water Bags similar to this one were once commonly used when traveling through the deserts of United States, or useful for even mining or construction workers. This Desert Water Bag believed to be made of flax and jute from the 1960s, once held 1 gallon of water. Early on, bags similar to this one were used for water consumption and then later on more of a useful container for adding water in vehicle radiators during hot temperatures. It still retains the original rope and aluminum spout with cap. A pretty neat piece of memorabilia to hang for those collectors of Coleman, Desert or Camping enthusiast.
