Product Description:  A wonderful framed antique embroidered sampler with the motto; "Blessed are the Pure in Heart".  This handmade sampler behind glass features five shades of red floss with a light shade of green leaves on a dark tan perforated/punched paper.  The original backboard is secured with two of the original nails.  An additional three newer supports and one nail appear to be added later.  This wonderful collectible is displayed in a gold color rim with a rustic, dark-brown, crisscross, Adirondack style frame.

Markings:  No visible markings or dates.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  The gold trim has noticeable wear and discoloration.  The frame shows wear and is in moderate to poor condition.  Missing two decorative pieces at the corners.  One of the other two corners has detached and extremely lose on frame. A piece of wood originally joined at the loose corner is missing.  The back shows surface wear and torn in areas.  The back is also being supported by three newer metal supports and one additional nail.  The picture wire and eye hooks appear to be original.
