Antique Blue & White Salt Glazed Stoneware Tea Crock No Lid
Product Description: This old, salt-glazed stoneware crock decorated in a country blue and white with an Ombre' effect is stenciled with a “Tea” label. Early stoneware canister crocks similar to this one are not commonly found and can still be used for multiple kitchen uses such as a cachepot or utensil holder. In cylinder form, it stands 6 inches tall with a generous 4 1/2 - 4 3/4 inch top opening with an embossed design at base level. Although missing its lid and showing its age, this tea jar will add some unique, old country charm to your kitchen.

Condition: Used – Antique. All over external and internal crazing with discoloration. Top opening is out-of-round. Three vertical hairline cracks from rim which do go through to inside. Still appears to be a strong piece. Holds water with no leaks. A 1 ½” chip to rim and some smaller chips and nicks (as shown). Chips, wear and crazing to base. Glaze imperfections.
