Antique Stick Spatter Handless Cup and Saucer Red & Green
Product Description: A charming two-piece handless cup and saucer from the 19th century. Nicely decorated with an early stick spatter technique in red and green on a creamy white with an all-over glaze. Even though this pair does have some age issues which are discussed under “Condition, it will be a charming and colorful addition to your kitchen.

Makers Mark: Unmarked Maker’s Name. Impressed “M” on bottom of saucer, and another impressed mark on bottom of cup.
Origin: Not marked. Probably England.
Condition: Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and use. All-over crazing is present on both pieces. Some color smear under glaze around rim of cup from the making. One ¾” vertical hairline crack from exterior and interior rim. Not easily seen and no weakness detected. One 1/8” chip on tip of saucer rim. Nearby is an area of glaze roughness and a nick. “Spur Marks” on bottom of saucer from the making.
