Description: This beautiful four-piece Soup Tureen in the “Gloucester” pattern by Copeland Spode will bring timeless style to your home this holiday season. Adorned with a dark green print of floral designs with a glossy glaze and ornamental style handles, this four piece set consists of a rather large oval tureen with lid, underplate and ladle. The underplate is an older production date marked “New Stone”, a durable, ironstone-type ceramic body which was introduced approximately 1822. The tureen, lid and ladle are made of “Fine Stone”, a slightly different formula that was introduced during the 1960s. A distinguished addition to any formal dining experience or treasured collection.
