Antique Small Grain Scoop Wood and Metal - Rustic Farmhouse Accent
Description: Small scoops similar to this one were once commonly used for scooping grain on farms or in general stores. This smaller 12 inch length with a metal scoop, wooden handle and back plate shows signs of old, original red wash or paint. The metal scoop is fastened to the wooden handle with nails. If you’re limited on space, this authentic, old grain scoop is a perfect size for displaying your favorite seasonal favorites.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. There is a 1 ½” split in the inside wood wall where nail is present. With this, there is a separation and back has pulled away some from the metal scoop. All nails have patina on the heads with exception of two on end where split is. There is a possibility these were replaced at some point. Still fairly strong with light wiggle to handle. Scratches, age darkening and some worm holes. Some rusting on inner part of scoop. Patina on wood with remnants of old red wash or paint.
