Product Description: Iron ladles and skimmers similar to this pair were often hung and used for cooking in early American Colonial kitchens near an open hearth. Both pieces are crafted with iron handles and brass cups attached with copper rivets. The strainer appears to have hand-hammered, flattened iron handles with hammered copper rivets. A fantastic pair to display in your kitchen, cabin or really anywhere.
