Description: This Wooden Kraut Cutter made by Tucker and Dorsey Manufacturing Co. Indianapolis, Indiana dating back to the earlier 1900s was once used to shred cabbage to make batches of sauerkraut to be stored throughout the year. It features a long wooden frame measuring 23 ¼ inches long with side boards, rails, double metal blades and a sliding square box designed to secure a cabbage head during shredding. Combining authentic vintage appeal with culinary history, this piece is a perfect candidate for a decorative accent or repurposing into a rustic shelf or farmhouse-style accent.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Box slides back and forth properly. Light to heavy patina to wood and blades, scratches and wear. On one side of the box, a split down lower side. Still appears to be strong. Note: Please keep out of reach of children as blades are sharp.
