Vintage Large Gathering Splint Basket 19" Melon Shape God's Eye Design
Description: This large handwoven basket with half-melon form has outstanding presence. Nicely woven, it showcases the God’s Eye (or Ojos de Dios) wrapped design on two sides. It measures 19 inches long at the most bulbous point with an exceptional upward curve on two ends which reaches about 12 ½ inches high. An overall sturdy piece with a low-rise wrapped, bentwood handle.
