Vintage Wooden Water Bucket Carrier - Shoulder Yoke - 44" Long, Rustic Wall Accent

Sale price $122.00 Regular price $195.00

Product Description:  This early 20th century, shoulder yoke would look fantastic as a  wall accent.  Once used to rest on the shoulders to carry two buckets of water or milk, this early shoulder carrier is hand- hewn from a single piece of medium-tone wood with double handles and a concave neck support.  The tip of the right end of the yoke is broken off, along with a surface crack starting from the end of where neck opening begins.  The cause may have been from carrying heavy bucket loads. Fantastic rustic, wall-accent and conversational piece.

Dimensions:  44" length overall (to damaged end) x 7 1/2" - 7 3/4" width

Circa:  Possibly early 20th century

Product Weight:  4 pounds 12 ounces

Color:  Medium tone wood with moderate surface patina.

Condition:  Previously owned - used.  Displays well.  Approx. 3/4" of end is broken off, although can still see portion of carrying hole.  Old wood on end is visible.  Some surface wear on edges are visible.  A surface crack on right side approximately 6" long although does not appear to effect the integrity of piece. Orange color in left bottom corner.
