Old Rustic Bentwood Dry Grain Measure 8 Quart Farmhouse Décor
Description: During the 19th and early 20th century, wooden containers similar to this one were commonly used in country stores and on rural farms for measuring dry goods or other commodities. This 8 quart Bentwood Dry Measure features vertical stave strips of wood and still reinforced with one metal band, sadly missing the lower one. It’s evident, this wooden dry measure was used often - leaving behind some wood chips, staining and wear, which all add to the character. A perfect addition for those who admire the rustic, worn appearance of authentic early measuring tools.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. All staves of wood are tight with "exception" of gap between two strips which has loosened and caused wiggle with those two wood strips (as shown). Normal wear, some wood chipping and staining. Missing bottom metal strap.
