19th Century New England Round Wood Pantry Box Signed J Burr
Product Description: Imagine this displayed in any room of your home. This early New England pantry box, stamped on the bottom base; J. BURR (from Hingham, Mass 1791-1857) is constructed with bentwood and beautiful medium to dark wood tones with natural patina. The lap joints on the base and edge of lid are nailed and surrounded by wonderful age darkening. The lid overlapping the base offers a slightly lighter or worn wood tone and spotty discoloration offers exquisite character to this collectible.
