Description: This authentic American Toleware Tin Coffee Pot captures the charm of early tinware craftsmanship. Retaining some of its original hand-painted, polychrome decoration on a black background, it showcases a tapered, cylinder shape body with hinged lid, strap handle and a graceful gooseneck spout. A special treasure for primitive decorating or those who appreciates and collects early, worn tinware.

Condition: Previously owned – used. Condition is commensurate with age and use. Decoration is worn and dry with scratches and color wear. Small hole in lower belly of tin which will not hold water. The base is discolored and interior is heavily patinated-rusty from age and use with a slight burnt odor - both likely from being used on top of fires.(as shown).
