Antique 6" White Ironstone Milk or Cream Pitcher Burgess & Goddard c. Mid to late 1800's
Description: A pretty 6-inch, white ironstone milk or cream pitcher from the mid to late 19th century. Bearing the back stamp on the bottom base, "Royal Patent Ironstone Burgess & Goddard”, it stands 6 inches tall and holds up to 3 cups. It's very clean and features an embossed beaded bow and tassel motif behind the handle with a smooth body surface. A simple, classy, white ironstone milk pitcher that will brighten up any table setting.

Markings: Royal Patent Ironstone Burgess & Goddard (black stamp with mark), also an incised mark – not legible.
Condition: Previously owned - used. No cracks, chips, nicks or crazing other than a possible issue with the thumb rest. There may have been an earlier repair on the left side, underneath portion of the thumb rest (finial), when facing left. An area of residue was picked up. As shown, the opposite side is in good condition. Finial on thumb rest is very strong and no signs of weakness. Light wear on bottom ring. A few age spots (as shown).
