Product Description: This twelve-piece set, service for 6 fruit knives and forks by Allen & Darwin (A & D), England dates back to the late 1800s. Simple yet elegant silver-plate with white, swirl mother-of-pearl handles and an incised decoration on the knife blades and fork heads. The knife blades bears the makers brand, trademark and registration number. It will arrive complete with the original wood case, blue velvet inserts and locking key.

Condition:  Previously owned - Used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Original locking key functions, although can be fussy. Some scratches on knives and forks. Lightly polished and cleaned, although not professionally. Most of Mother-of-Pearl handles are in good condition with a few having small scrapes on corners with areas of discoloration from use. One blue velvet end which holds the forks in place is detached although still is functional. Case has some scratches and nicks. Mostly on bottom corners.
