Antique Black Table Top Vanity Jewelry Chest
Product Description: Possibly once used as a table top vanity chest in the Asian culture in the earlier days to conceal jewelry or other treasures, this wooden chest still bears its original metal side and front handles. An unusual piece which appears to be handcrafted and once covered with an earlier worn lacquered and painted surface. Although this one gives the appearance of an ordinary box when closed, when the front door pulls down it reveals six drawers for storage. These drawers are made of a soft wood with gold painted decoration on the front with metal, dangling handles.
