Antique Oval Blue Feather Edged Platter 16"
Product Description: Expertly crafted and hand-decorated, this early Blue Feather-Edged Platter on creamy white will be a timeless addition to your home. In oval form, it measures 16 inches in length with an impressed feather-edged and hand-decorated blue rim with an all-over glazed finish. To help date this platter, located on the back are three sets of spur marks in triangular form left by the supports during firing of the pottery, two on each corner on the bottom and one in the center on top. A simple yet pretty platter which could be functional in a bedroom, kitchen or bathroom.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is commensurate with age and use. No cracks or repairs. Utensil marks and/or scratches are present on front and back from use, more so on front. Scuffs and wear are present on oval footed base. Two small nicks and light wear on blue edge. A few small, raised clay pieces are present either inclusions or age-related signs.
