Antique English Blue Ironstone Transferware Pitcher CIRCASSIA Cobridge John Alcock

Product Description: A beautiful piece of 19th century, blue and white transferware Ironstone pitcher in the Circassia pattern made in Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, England by John Alcock. Highly decorated it stands 11 inches tall with a slender, eight paneled Octagon form. A collector piece over 160 years old in nice condition.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Good condition. Inside is clean with a few glaze pops in bottom. Some roughness and bubbling in glaze underneath spout. Minimal light wear to color. Light wear on base with a 1/4" crack which appears to be more in the glaze but is present (as shown). Does not appear to effect the quality of the piece.
