Antique English White Ironstone Covered Sugar Bowl by H. Burgess England
Description: Measuring 7” tall, this crisp white ironstone sugar bowl with lid by H. Burgess Burslem, England from the latter 1800's has a wonderful presence. In very good condition from an estate collection, its smooth, glazed body and lid offers a clean and crisp appearance. The embossed, petite, bellflower floral on two sides dangling from a leafy stem. The lid sits nicely with an elaborate floral finial, most likely bell flower. For sure not your typical sugar bowl, kept in super condition and will add charm to any style kitchen or dining area.

Condition: Previously owned - used. Very good to excellent condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. Minimal crazing, if any. Finial has been examined and checked for repairs and in original condition. Inside and out is super clean with no staining. One 1/8” nick on outside of one flower pedal on finial. Not easily seen. Light, normal wear on base.
